In-country Fair

EducationUSA in Nigeria holds an annual College Fair in which prospective international students learn directly from admissions officers. Every September, about 30 U.S. college representatives are hosted by EducationUSA in Nigeria. Students who are interested in studying in the U.S. are encouraged to seize the opportunity learn about application requirements, funding opportunities and everything that U.S. education has to offer.

Virtual College Fair

The Virtual College is hosted quarterly by College Week Live in collaboration with EducationUSA. The fair allows students to interact with more than 100 college representatives. It also includes live presentations from higher education specialists who provide answers to questions that international students ask about applying to schools in the U.S. The best thing about the Virtual College Fair is that you can attend from anywhere in the world! International Education Week

The International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education. The week focuses on how studying in the U.S. has helped international students to see the world and their disciplines from a much wider perspective.

Teachers & Guidance Counselor Training Workshop

The Teacher and Guidance Counselor Training Workshop empowers teachers and guidance counsellors who work with high school students. The training helps them to view college applications from the perspective of admissions officers, so they can guide their students better in preparing competitive applications.

Mrs. Adeola Adejumobi

Adeola Oseni has a Master’s Degree in English and is a Fellow of the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship (FLTA) program at Yale University, where she taught Yoruba Language. 
On her return to Nigeria in 2011, she also taught Yoruba as a foreign language for two sessions at the Yoruba Language Centre, University of Ibadan. She was into freelance English- Yoruba translation before joining the Lagos EducationUSA team in 2016.
She has a passion for a career in education and working with students who want to study in the U.S. makes her close to students.

Chinenye Uwadileke

Chinenye Uwadileke has a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages & Literatures from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She majored in French and had a minor in Russian. She also did a one-year study abroad program at L’Université de Pau et les Pays de L’Adour, Pau-France. Upon graduation, she did a certificate program at the GOETHE Institut in German Language. Chinenye has a Masters in Public Administration in International Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California. She is an International Fellow of the American Association of University Women. Prior to becoming an EducationUSA Adviser, Chinenye managed various prestigious U.S. Government exchange programs for nine years including the Fulbright & Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program at the U.S. Consulate in Lagos.  She also maintained relationships with all the U.S. Mission’s higher education institutions in Southern Nigeria.  Chinenye is a recipient of numerous State Department awards, has attended various training programs in her field including the College Advising Program with Teachers College, Columbia University. She has also visited over 30 U.S. Institutions. Having studied in the U.S. fully funded, she is passionate about working with students at all levels to achieve their goals. She is married to her college sweetheart and they have four children.
