JOY UDOH

Joy Udoh graduated from Lagoon Secondary School, Lagos and took a gap year before college. During this time, she interned at EducationUSA and applied to different schools in the U.S. Through the help of the center, she was admitted into 9 schools one of which was Oberlin College in Ohio with a scholarship of $42,000. She is currently a third year Neuroscience and pre-med major and is involved in a number of organizations and offices on campus. She is the Junior Class President and a co-chair for both the African Students’ Association and the Neuroscience Majors’ Committee. She is also an OCRF (Oberlin College Research Fellowship) Fellow and spent this past summer conducting research under the college’s research department.
